(LAKE WORTH, Fla.) — Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast hosted a heartwarming graduation stole ceremony for seniors at Lake Worth Community High School on Monday, April 29. This ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students who participated in the 3DE by JA Program, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young minds for future success.
 
Katelyn Bates, the Director of Program & Volunteer Operations for Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast, expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the program a success. During the event, Bates highlighted the dedication of the educators, whose unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in nurturing the students' growth throughout their high school journey.
 
"While JA has made it possible for the students to participate in the program, the success of it boils down to how much effort each student puts in by choosing it every day, and even more so to the teachers and administrators who choose to go the extra mile," Bates remarked.

In recognition of their dedication and hard work, Junior Achievement announced the recipients of the prestigious 3DE by JA Scholarships, generously presented by the Stiles-Nicholson Foundation. These scholarships aim to provide further opportunities for students as they navigate their future endeavors.

"High school was hard enough, but you all had to manage while being faced with such adversity in COVID. If that taught us anything, I hope you gleaned that life is more about progress than perfection," Bates shared. "I know that you all will continue to progress because I am now convinced that you can do anything if you put in the effort."
